Prayers Needed

This morning at 2:00 a.m. or so my Grandpa Shimel (my mother's dad) passed away. I received the call at about 2:30 a.m. and headed on down town to their home to see what I could do to help the family.

Needless to say Grandma Shimel is besides herself. After some 55+ years of marriage I would expect no less.

My mom is a trooper and as always she took care of business. I am so thankful for a firm foundation and for a family that sticks together when the times are rough as well as easy.

Your prayers and thoughts are needed. Please pray for grandma to have strength and peace in her heart.

Our family would appreciate it.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY DIANA!!!!

Happy Birthday goes out to my little sister Diana!!!

She is so lucky to spend her birthday week in London, Paris and Italy.

I wish I was in Paris today!!

Love you and miss you all.

Painting Pumpkins

Last night my cousin and her husband and her daughter Linndsy came over for some pizza, painting of pumpkins and some hot tub fun. Here are the girls making a big fun mess.

These are the pumpkins that they have been collecting from all of their field trips to the pumpkin patches.

My little artist.

Here is Paisley's masterpiece. Glitter and all.

We had a great night of family fun!!!

Osh Kosh Winter Outfit Sale

Need winter gear for your kiddos????

My dear friend Sarah told me abou this sale and now I am passing it on to you all...

Jump over the Burlington Outlet Mall...they have winter gear 50% off and if you print out their 20% coupon....you save even more. I picked up the bibs, coat and matching boots last week for cheap. Paisley is all ready for the snow.

Hoaloha Doll

This is Paisley's new doll from Hawaii. Her grandpa Place sent it to her this week. It is a Hoaloha doll. Which means best friend.

Octoberfest 2009

Each year our good friends Mariah and Clint have an Octoberfest Party for families. We had dinner, socialized, ate caramel apples and carved pumpkins. Tons of Fun.

Here is miss sassy helping daddy carve her pumpkin.

This is what we came up with. Our pumpkin had a blemish so we carved it out and made a pirate pumpkin. Argh!!!!

After church Sunday, we carved our pumpkins. George helped Paisley and I did one that says ALOHA. Note to self....ones with words are hard to do...next time stick with the scary face. After a couple of issues and a few toothpicks later...I was complete.

I should mention also this was a bugger to clean out. I was up to my armpits in pumpkin guts. It was that tall. Note #2 to self....smaller pumpkins are easier to clean out. As Paisley would say all night long....YUCK!!!!

Here are our three masterpieces. We are all ready for Halloween!!!

Paisley Purse

I know Ashley Brown will appreciate this post.

For my birthday George bought me another seatbelt bag. I know you are all like why does she need another seatbelt bag...I did not intend on getting another one since I already own 1 in pink, 1 in blue, 1 in black and my diaper bag is one in red. I just could not resist the new one out that is paisley printed.

So....yes... I have another. I have to say to you all...they are the best bags in the world. There are many different styles, colors, etc. I have had my black one now for at least 6 years and it still looks brand new. Check out their website. www.seatbeltbags.com

Pumpkin Patch

First of all....I have to say how lucky we are to have such great friends that love us. Our dear friends Steve and Lisa Bebee asked if Paisley and my nieces would like to come over to Lisa's parents house and get pumpkins. Lisa's dad has a green thumb, just like Lisa and had a great pumpkin patch.

So on Saturday I put on Paisley's pumpkin picking outfit and we went over there and picked out pumpkins!!! We had fun. They were huge pumpkins and it was so kind of them to invite us over. In addition we picked plums!!! Paisley loved them.

Nice pose Paisley :)

Check out how big the pumpkins were. Almost as big as Paisley.

Here is Steve and George helping the girls find just the right pumpkin.

Paisley took a wheel barrow ride.

It was a great day to pick pumpkins.
Thanks Steve and Lisa for a great day and for the pumpkins. You guys are the best!!!!
