This week with the Place Family...

On Thursday we went to Jeneva's first musical. It was really cute. She was so excited.

Then Friday...George and I went to Seattle for our Valentine's weekend. We stayed at a new hotel called the W. It was great. Highly recommend it. It was in walking distance to our restaurant, the movies and to the downtown shopping. We parked and walked everywhere.

After we checked in we headed downtown for some shopping and then went to McCormick's Steakhouse for dinner. It was fabulous. I had filet minon and George had a stuffed salmon. Saturday we headed home to see our lovely daughter...but not until after we did some more shopping. Picked up some great deals.

Sunday was Valentine's day as you all know and I had an opportunity to substiute teach Relief Society for a very dear friend. I had a great time. I wanted to give a shout out to Tallie for helping me make 50 large heart shaped sugar cookies Saturday night for my hand outs. Everyone loved them.

After church we had George's famly over for dinner...my brother in law is very sweet. He brought me over flowers and candy.
Kona's girlfriend Melissa brought over a carrot cake for dessert. It was delicious. Thanks again Melissa!

Paisley and I found this paisley printed valentine for George. The small box is Paisley's from her Papa Nick.

George bought Paisley these cute stuffed animals for her valentine.

Papa Nick also gave paisley her very first rose.

Today is Monday and I am off for the holiday. Paisley and I are baking daddy white chocolate macadamia nut cookies. He is working the commercial shift today for double pay. Nice to relax and spend a day with Paisley. Although she has already colored the floor, pooped two times, took all her clothes out of the dresser and ran away from me when we went to get stamps and it is just 11 a.m. I have a great appreciation for my cousin each and every day. She is an amazing woman to deal with my little devil. :)
Hope you all had a great Valentine's Day. We sure did.
